Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 11, 2026

The short version: your photos never leave your device, there are no user accounts, no analytics and no advertising trackers. We only handle what is needed to sell and check licenses.

Who is responsible

Tone Master is operated by an independent developer based in the Czech Republic, reachable at tonemaster.support@gmail.com.

Your photos

All editing happens inside your browser. Your photos are not uploaded to our servers or to anyone else.

Purchases

Orders are handled by Lemon Squeezy, our reseller (merchant of record). Lemon Squeezy collects your name, email address and payment details to process the order, send your license key and meet tax rules. We can see your name, email address and order details in our Lemon Squeezy dashboard, which we use for customer support. See Lemon Squeezy’s privacy policy.

License checks

When you enter your license key, it is sent to our server and to Lemon Squeezy to activate it. The activation is labelled with your browser type, operating system and the date (for example “Chrome on Windows, 2026-10-11”), so you and we can tell your devices apart. A cookie in your browser then stores your key and activation ID, protected against tampering, so you don’t have to enter the key again. Every few days the key is re-checked with Lemon Squeezy.

Free trial

To count your free photos, a cookie and your browser’s local storage keep a short list of anonymous codes, each calculated from a photo’s file name, size and date. The codes can’t be turned back into the file name, and they contain nothing from the photo itself.

Hosting and other services

Email

If you write to us, we use your email address and message only to reply and help you.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us for access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, or object to how it is used. Write to tonemaster.support@gmail.com. You can also complain to the Czech data protection authority (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů, uoou.gov.cz).

Cookies

We only use the two cookies described above (license and free trial). They are needed for the service to work, so no cookie banner is shown. Clearing your browser data removes them; you can then enter your license key again.
